Seona James
Managing Director Indigenous Cultural Connections and Yorta Yorta woman
Seona started her career as a Sportsgirl casual in the 80’s and now serves as the Cultural Advisor for the Group, drawing on her Yorta Yorta heritage to guide reconciliation connections and actions.
“The Sussan Group’s approach to reconciliation has really stood out to me, honesty and transparency. The best results come from clients who openly share their willingness to listen and learn about First Nations culture and communities.”
Dan Knapp
headspace Executive Director First Nations Wellbeing and Engagement
Sportsgirl and headspace have been working together since 2020 to raise vital funds to support the social and emotional wellbeing of First Nations young people.
“By providing a platform for young First Nations artists to share their creativity and culture, this project not only amplifies their voices but also directly supports some deadly Social and Emotional Wellbeing initiatives through our partnership. We are incredibly grateful for Sportsgirl’s ongoing support in making a real and lasting impact.”
