RECONCILIATION ACTION PLAN

We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia, and the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Peoples of the Kulin nation and Wallumattagal Peoples of the Dharug nation on which our corporate head offices are situated.

We pay our respects to their Elders past and present and to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.

The Sussan Group Reconciliation Action Plan

With gratitude and respect, The Sussan Group’s Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), which outlined the commitment and contribution towards reconciliation efforts in Australia was formally endorsed by Reconciliation Australia in 2023.

We acknowledge that reconciliation isn’t simply something that we plan and commit to on paper. It has to be something that we actively live and grow from every day as a team and business. As a Group, we have the opportunity to leverage the power of our unique retail legacy across three iconic Australian brands to impact, influence and advocate for the retail industry to commit to and contribute towards reconciliation efforts in Australia.

Throughout the Reflect phase of our Reconciliation work, we have been deepening our cultural knowledge along with understanding the sphere of influence we can continue taking towards reconciliation in Australia.

Further to this, we have registered with Reconciliation Australia and are now taking the heartfelt and meaningful next step by working towards our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan.

We are proud to have an ongoing relationship with artist Rhys Paddick, a Yamatji, Budimia, Noongar Australian, Co Founder and Director of Acknowledge This!
